Brooke Burke was born on September 8, 1971 in Hartford, Connecticut. She has never thought of career in entertainment industry during her school years. Quite by chance, while accompanying a friend to a modeling agency, a modeling scout discovered her and that's how her modeling career has begun.

Her early career included mostly modeling jobs, magazines, catalogs etc. Later on she jumped to commercials. She appeared in Bally's Total Fitness commercial playing the beautiful body and Discover Card – the 'dream date’ of Yankee Derek Jeter.

But it was not until her latest job as a hostess of Wild On that she attained nation-wide fame. Her work on Wild On made her a star leading to her appearance in Playboy
